After the dramatic S/S 2012 presentation back in September, ODLR showed a gorgeous and highly wearable collection for Pre-Fall (which will hit stores around July). The lightweight silk dresses—both short and full-length—seemingly floated down the runway. The separates were chic, as would be expected from one of his collections, and the detailing was exquisite. I’m sure some of the lovely gowns will make their way onto the red carpet during awards show season.

I had the privilege of shooting Oscar de la Renta’s fall preview yesterday and as always it was 15 minutes of movement, color and a bit of fantasy. The clothes seem at once unobtainable but also completely wearable, which I think is perfect.
